  • Crystallization (Ponds): The densest brine reaches the final crystallizer ponds. Here, under the relentless Rayong sun, the magic happens. Tiny, perfect crystals begin to form on the surface and along the edges.

  • Protecting the Pans: They check for leaks, clear debris, and ensure water flow is optimal. A sudden downpour can ruin weeks of work, so constant weather assessment is part of their instinct.

The physical labour is immense – hours spent bent under the growing heat, raking heavy, wet salt into gleaming white mounds that dot the landscape like miniature pyramids. Yet, there’s a profound serenity in their movements, a deep connection to the rhythm of the earth and sea.
